Okay, so it's a "can't sleep night" so I'm going to make a list. This will be a list of 10 of my all time favorite TV shows, past and present. Things I will probably watch whenever they show up. They are in no particular order...just as they come to mind.
1. The Brady Bunch--I have loved this show since I was a little kid, and I've seen all the episodes so many times I could probably recite them. My roommate from college and I used to try to draw a map of the Brady house....it can't be done! The house is fake...just a set....hope I didn't ruin that for you.
2. The X-Files--Dave and I started watching this from the very first episode and loved it until the end. Admittedly the last season was a little "off", but this was must-see TV for us. I used to tape them on the VCR (remember those!) and take them to work to watch on my lunch break. When I was pregnant with Haley, one of the girls who worked for me saw me watching in the back room...again...and said, "You are SOO into this show! If your baby is a boy, you'll probably name him "Fox Mosher"!" I told Dave this story and he really did want to name a boy Fox. Didn't happen.
3. 90210--I came into this one late, because I was a little old for it when it first came out. I loved "Saved by the Bell" reruns, and when Tiffani Amber Theissen joined the cast of 90210, I started watching. Then I had to watch those reruns to catch up on all the characters and the rest is history. But Kelly should have totally married Brandon....Dylan is a loser.
4. LOST--I'm glad this is still on, because I LOVE it! Although, I was really bummed when we saw the future-flash of Jack and Kate breaking apart....that is soooo NOT okay with me.
5. Desperate Housewives--The flash-forward this season is going to be such a trip...I hope it works. I don't totally love this show, but when it's good, it's so fun to watch.
6. Seinfeld--I also started watching this from the very beginning when it was in danger of being cancelled. Dave and I can inject a line from a Seinfeld episode into almost any conversation....and we do. These never get old or tired for us.
7. Prison Break--Now I'm not sure if this is really an all time top 10 item, but more like something I dig right now. So far I've been really into it, but I'm skeptical if they can keep this storyline going for a whole lot longer. It gets a little out there sometimes, but it still hooks me in.
8. Will & Grace--I actually stopped watching this show when they broke up Grace and Leo....apparently I get really hung up on the couplings of shows, huh? I was kind of done at that point, but the early episodes are so incredibly funny that I was a huge fan. I might have to go back and watch the seasons I bailed on.
9. Alias--This show totally rocked!! I'm a fan of JJ Abrams, so I'm going to try out The Fringe this season. I love Jennifer Garner, and love the way they ended this show so sweetly.
10. SpongeBob--I kind of had a hard time coming up with 10, and I probably forgot something, but I do love SpongeBob. How can you not? He really is so danged funny!
Tell me your list...doesn't have to be 10, I'd love to hear it.

You KNOW you want one!
My 3's

Since I'm still a new bloggin kind of geek, I dig these tag games, and Beth had a cool one, so here I go.
3 Current Goals:
1. Find a new race to train for, better my time, and maybe actually lose some stinking weight in the process. What a concept, huh? Apparently training to walk/run 13.1 miles just doesn't do it for my sad self.
2. Finish laundry before it becomes a nightmare that I have to stay up until 2am to accomplish. Oh wait, that's not really a goal, because I think I don't care. Hmmmm.
3. Be a better me....find what that means for me and do it.
3 Current Obsessions:
1. Those goofy Crystal Light packets you put in water bottles to flavor them. I LOVE these (and I totally feel you, Beth, on the Vitamin Water...I loves em). Our new fridge has a water filter so I use a water bottle from some Oracle event and fill it up and put the packet in, and yummmmm.....
2. Finding new places to walk/run and chart my mileage on mapmyrun.com
3. Apparently one of my obessions is babbling on and on and on......
3 Fears:
1. Losing my mom.
2. snakes...hate em
3. The dark. I've been scared of the dark since I was a little kid and it hasn't gone away.
3 Random Facts:
1. I have a ridiculous obession with reading Perez Hilton. Embarrassing, yes.
2. I also love office supplies. Sue is my only friend that really shares this bizarre fascination with me. I love to look at pens, erasers, paper, the smell of a new box of 64 Crayola crayons...and the markers! Geez, don't get me started!
3. When I'm up late on nights I can't sleep, I watch trash TV. From G's to Gents, I Love Money, Queen Bees, The Girls Next Door.......I'm going to go hide my head under my pillow now.
Wow, I feel a little exposed, a little "out there" now. Someone else needs to do this to take the pressure off, okay?

I DID IT!!!!!!!

I actually finished the half marathon and I can still walk!! Yay, me! Sorry I haven't had much time to update lately....I've been trying to train, get used to everyone's new school schedules, and try to get reorganized again. I was trying to wait until I had time to gather the pics from my camera, but that isn't going to happen yet, so I'll add those later.
Here's the latest:
Haley has started the SIXTH GRADE....how is that possible? I still see that little tiny toddler with blonde wispy hair, and the loud mouth. Oh wait, the loud mouth is still there, but the rest is growing up rapidly. So far she likes her teacher, and is trying very hard to be organized this year with homework, assignments and projects. She has to really be on top of things with soccer games and practice, and so far she's off to a great start.
Jason is in the third grade and already complaining about homework and the fact that he's not allowed to play X-Box during the week. The kid is seriously turning into Eeyore...he only seems to see the negative in things. Little does he know that most people would LOVE to have his easy carefree life! He starts Fall baseball next week, and is really excited about that. Jason will be on the Red Sox, so stay tuned for photos!
Now back to Marathon weekend. We went down to Disneyland on Friday, got to the Expo to pick up our race packets and then hit the parks! I, of course, never travel to DL without Ridemax, so we got the biggest bang for our bucks and hardly waited in lines at all. This is so corny, but my favorite part about going to DL is when you walk down the tram area getting to the gates, and you're all excited because you can hear the music, and see the people, and you're thinking about how much fun it will be. Then you go through the gates, and under the archway where it says you're about to enter "The Happiest Place on Earth" and you realize that you ARE in the happiest place on earth and it's so exciting! Yeah, kind of dorky, but I love it.
The kids ran in their 5K Saturday morning and had a great time. They ran the whole race and made pretty good time, and really enjoyed all the characters and sights inside the park. The whole 5K is through California Adventure and Disneyland park and it's such a fun event. After the race, they took showers and we hit the parks again for another full day that didn't end until around 10:30pm. I had to get up early for my race the next day since it started at 6am. I had a much better pace this year, and felt really good physically for most of the race. I got more tired than I would have liked around miles 9 & 10, but I'll work on that next year. At least it wasn't over 90 degrees outside like last year! I'll take a picture of the medal later and post it.
All in all we had a GREAT weekend, and I may just sign up for this one again....who knows? :)
